Windows Password Finder

"Last night I put a new password on the administrator user on my Windows XP and now I wake up and have forgotten it, meaning I can only log in as a guest. Is there anyway to reset the password?"

If you forgot Windows XP administrator password, you can't download or install anything on your computer. If administrator is the only user on your computer, you even can't login to the system. In these situations, we need to create a Windows password reset disk on another accessible computer, then bring it to boot your locked computer and reset Windows XP password.

Step 1: Create a Windows XP Password Reset Disk

Download the Windows Password Finder and save it on another computer you have access to. Unzip the downloaded file, there should be an ISO image file: windows_password_finder.iso. You can use the BurnCDCC program to burn the ISO image to a blank CD/DVD, or burn it to a USB flash drive using USB Burner.
